Praise & Pearl Events was founded by Triza Chemutai — a passionate event décor artist who believes that every celebration deserves to be extraordinary, regardless of budget.
What started as a small balloon styling passion project has grown into one of Nairobi's most trusted full-service event décor studios. Triza and her team now serve clients from Mombasa to Kisumu, Nakuru to Eldoret — bringing magic wherever they go.

Frequently Asked Questions
How far in advance should I book?+
We recommend booking at least 2–4 weeks in advance, especially for weekends. For large events like weddings, 1–3 months ahead is ideal. Last-minute bookings (under 1 week) are accommodated based on availability.
Do you serve areas outside Nairobi?+
Yes! We serve all counties across Kenya including Nakuru, Kisumu, Mombasa, Eldoret, Thika, Kiambu and more. An upcountry transport fee applies and is quoted based on your location.
How does the 50% deposit work?+
A 50% deposit is required to confirm and lock in your event date. The remaining 50% balance is paid on the day of the event before our team begins setup. This protects both parties.
What payment methods do you accept?+
We accept M-Pesa (most popular), Visa & Mastercard via our secure Paystack payment gateway, bank transfer, and cash on arrival. Online payments are secured by Paystack.
Can I customise a package?+
Absolutely! Use our interactive Decor Builder to create a completely custom concept and see the price instantly. You can also WhatsApp Triza directly on 0740 065 385 to discuss a bespoke quote.
How long does setup take?+
Setup typically takes 2–4 hours depending on the size and complexity of your décor. We always arrive well before your event starts so everything is perfect when your guests walk in.
Do you handle breakdown/takedown?+
Yes! Breakdown and takedown is included in all our packages. Our team returns after your event to remove all décor. You don't have to worry about a thing.
What is your cancellation policy?+
Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the event are eligible for a full refund of the deposit. Cancellations within 48 hours may forfeit the deposit. Please see our Legal & Terms page for full details.
Do you do indoor and outdoor events?+
Yes! We decorate both indoor venues (halls, hotels, homes, offices) and outdoor spaces (gardens, tents, open grounds). We advise on what works best for each environment.
Can I choose my own colour theme?+
Of course! All décor is fully customisable to your chosen colour theme. When booking, simply let Triza know your preferred colours and she'll source materials accordingly.

By booking our services, you agree to the terms outlined on this page. These terms apply to all bookings, whether made online, via WhatsApp, phone, or in person.
2. Booking & Deposit Policy
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm and secure your event date.
The remaining 50% balance must be paid on the event day before setup begins.
Your date is not confirmed until the deposit is received and acknowledged by Praise & Pearl Events.
Deposits can be paid via M-Pesa, card (Visa/Mastercard), or bank transfer.
A booking confirmation will be sent to you via WhatsApp or email upon receipt of deposit.
3. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the event: Full deposit refund minus any costs already incurred (e.g. materials purchased).
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the event: Deposit is forfeited.
If Praise & Pearl Events cancels your booking due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be issued within 7 business days.
Rescheduling is permitted up to 72 hours before the event, subject to availability, at no additional charge.
4. Delivery & Setup
Delivery within Nairobi is included for most bookings. Upcountry transport is quoted separately.
Setup typically takes 2–4 hours. Access to the venue must be provided at least 2 hours before event start time.
The client is responsible for ensuring venue access is available at the agreed setup time.
Breakdown and takedown of all décor is included in all packages and is done after your event ends.
5. Damages & Liability
Praise & Pearl Events is not liable for damage caused to décor items by third parties, guests, or venue conditions (e.g. weather, animals, venue staff).
Clients are liable for any deliberate damage to our equipment. Replacement costs will be charged accordingly.
We take great care with all décor, but balloons are inherently fragile and may pop — this is not grounds for refund.
Praise & Pearl Events carries out all work at the client's own risk with respect to venue-specific conditions.
6. Privacy Policy
We collect your name, phone number, email, and event details solely for the purpose of fulfilling your booking.
Your personal information is never shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
Payment information is processed securely via Paystack — we do not store card or M-Pesa details.
Photos taken at your event may be used for our portfolio and social media unless you specifically request otherwise.
7. Payment Security
All online payments are processed by Paystack, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. We accept M-Pesa, Visa, and Mastercard. Your financial details are encrypted and never stored on our servers.
